Lend A Paw is committed to enhancing the lives of individuals experiencing physical, mental, emotional or life challenges by providing therapy dogs to offer warmth, compassion, unconditional love and a healing environment. The program is designed to rescue dogs from the shelter and train them to be therapy dogs. Individuals are also invited to join our LAP team with their own dogs provided the dogs have the required obedience and temperament for therapy work.

Scheduled Visits - Week of February 7th

Tuesday, February 8th @ 1:00 PM:
Jewish Home for the Aging / Grancell Village
Taper Building

Reseda, CA
The residents of this facility are always happy to see their Lend A Paw friends! Please meet 5 minutes early at the large patio.

Wednesday, February 9th @ 12:00 PM:
New Horizons
15725 Parthenia Street
North Hills, CA
This is our first visit of the month to this school and workplace for developmentally challenged adults. With the wonder of children, these loving individuals look forward to hugs and kisses from their furry friends. We need at least 4 therapy teams to carry out this visit.
*We are also looking for a leader for this site. Please let Sharon know of you are able to help!

Sunday, February 13th @ 10:30 AM:
Aegis Living Assisted Living Facility
10801 Lindley Ave
Granada Hills, CA
This is a NEW site that we were requested to visit. The residents are really looking forward to enjoying time with our therapy dogs and volunteers. We can take up to 4 teams to this site.
